Greetings, Sunshine Strummers!  Beat the heat and join us at the Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock, Thursday,  June 18th at 10:00a.m.  Caution!  🌞There will be plenty of Music, Fun, and Friends!!!!

Message from Kelly:

Hi Strummers, while John and Kathy are on vacation, Jan, Debbie and I are standing in as best we can.  Our setlist is comprised of 6 songs to celebrate the lowly but beloved penny (two of them are brand new!) and six Hawaiian songs.  You may notice that the Hawaiian songs are a little out of alphabetical order.  There’s a reason for this, which will be revealed in the fullness of time.  We hope it’s not too much of an inconvenience for binder users.

For those who like to preview new songs, here is a link to a video of Magic Penny by Malvina Reynolds and here is a link to the version of Pennies From Heaven that inspired us as we created a version for our group in the key of C, however, please note that we have changed some of the chords to make the song more playable.  We look forward to playing and singing with all of you lovely strummers on the 18th!
