Hello Strummers!

This is Kelly standing in (or is that writing in…?) for John and Connie this week.  So since I have the metaphorical megaphone, let me fill in some gaps from my commentary at yesterday’s meeting:  A belated welcome to our Zoom crowd from last Thursday.  We’re always aware that you are with us in the room and so happy you can connect with us in this way.  Big thanks to Ron and Betty for providing live Zoom meetings and the recordings afterward.  Special thanks to Betty Yee and her magic U-Bass!  Also a big shout out to the Robic Refrigeration Tech who fixed the air conditioning just before our meeting started.  It would have been nigh onto impossible to continue in the room without air conditioning.  Particularly on Moloka’i Slide when the room was really rocking, Hawaiian Style.  There’s no place I’d rather be-ee-ee than singing and playing with all of you!

Another round of virtual applause for our open mic singers, Debbie Noda (Isn’t she lovely?) and Mark Thompson (Mark, it’s clear you’ve been eating your spinach!)

Next week, come and join John, Kathy, Betty and Larry for another session of strumming and singing with a healthy dose of laughing on the side.
